Five Decades of Original Thinking

Howard Teich's intellectual project is, at its core, a single idea pursued across five decades and multiple disciplines: that the structure of consciousness is complementary, not oppositional. From the physics of Niels Bohr to the mythology of Joseph Campbell to the alchemical studies of C.G. Jung to the neurobiology of mirror neurons, the same principle appears: apparent opposites are not in conflict — they are cooperative partners, and their cooperation is the generative engine of nature, mind, and culture.

This section traces the five dimensions of that insight — from its theoretical foundation in complementarity, through the archetypal model of Solar-Lunar-Terrestrial consciousness, the ancient transformation map of alchemy, the new frontier of artificial intelligence, and the mythological figure who moves between all worlds.
